Morning Myst Botanics is located on 280 acres of certified organic forest, grasslands and gardens. John Booth has stewarded this property for over 20 years. Ann Harman moved to this area in 2005 from the Olympic Peninsula in western Washington and loves the seclusion and wildness of the area. Together we grow, distill and enjoy the country life.

Our farm overlooks beautiful Lake Roosevelt in eastern Washington. Please visit our Farm Picture Page for stunning views. In this country we have hot, dry summers which produce highly aromatic herbs. The heat and sun develop the essential oil glands and produce exquisite essential oils. These make superb therapeutic hydrosols and oils.

On our farm we gather a wide variety of medicinal herbs that grow here naturally, by certifying the entire farm we are able to wildcraft these herbs and have them certified organic. By purchasing high quality herbs locally we are able to harvest at the peak of season and can distill the herbs fresh.

We take great pride in producing small quantities of HIGH quality botanicals. We have a direct connection to the land that cannot be reproduced on large commercial farms, or with commercial harvesting and manufacturing.

We enjoy working directly with Naturopaths, Medical Doctors, Aromatherapists, Massage/Physical Therapists and the Natural Beauty Industry. These professionals have found our oils and hydrosols to be sweeter and of the highest quality.

We are constantly researching, publishing and learning about the hydrosols and essential oils. Ann has published several articles for Aromatherapy Magazines including The Aromatic News, The Aromatherapy Thymes and Aromatherapy Today.

We have, through the years, developed custom blends, and distilled unusual plants by special request. It keeps us all learning from and teaching each other. We are also supplying Botanical Reference Vouchers.
